I am looking for some feedback regarding how many companies are currently experiencing challenges when reconciling inventory in JDE at month end.

Reconciling inventory without regard to what ERP system you are using is a challenge if the discipline is not there on the shop floor and distribution center.
ReplyDeleteMeasuring inventory record accuracy, BOM (accuracy if you backflush), WO accuracy, PO accuracy on a statistically valid sampling on a regular basis is the key discipline.
Hi Craig. Thanks for the feedback. I completely agree. However, JD Edwards has some specific challenges above and beyond discipline issues that you listed which is why I am targeting that particular ERP with the poll. Thanks!
